hi my name’s lucaiah and i love fashion, so i wanted to help my trans sisters navigate the confusing world of women’s clothing! i’ll be covering things like clothing and shoe sizes, fashion tips, where to buy clothes, and what sort of essentials you might want to have in your wardrobe!
this primarily applies to Americans since i am American, just so you know! also i spent two hours writing this so, you know. reblog it perhaps.
1. Clothing and Shoe Sizes
2. Fashion Tips
i believe in wearing whatever you want to wear, fuck what cis people think. however, i also believe that wanting to “pass” as cis is a totally valid thing to want–especially if your safety is at risk. here are some tips:
3. Where to Buy Clothes
time to be honest: skinny girls have more options than fat ones, and rich ones have more than poor ones. this fat poor person is going to list stores that carry plus-size options alongside smaller ones.
4. Essentials
speaking of essentials, here’s what i recommend to have in your closet if you can afford it:
5. You Look Beautiful
i mean it. girls? all pretty. i love you. you’re amazing. go kick ass!
everyone feel free to add on to or correct this post, especially with options for international stores and for makeup! (i have no clue how to makeup. i am sorry)
i also recommend the subreddit “ABraThatFits” because they have resources/advice/guides specifically for trans women and transfemme people!!
Sapphire may be mad now, but I’m sure she’ll let it go eventually.

(That’s it for this week’s Submission Saturday. Thank you all for your awesome contributions to this blog!)
I really really want to know!
… Ask “can I kiss you?” or lean in halfway and then wait for you to close the gap.
… Tap the item of clothing and check to see if you’re okay removing it.
… Respect your boundaries *without* pointing out how “nice” and “patient” they’re being and how very hard they’re struggling to be okay with it.
… Surprise you with kisses *only after* you’ve told them how much you enjoy getting surprise kisses from them.
… Remember where you don’t like to be touched.
… Appreciate your body as it is and when it changes.
… Communicate before, during, and after intimacy.
Here’s to the people who make consent a natural part of relationships, as it should be.
Aphroditus (Ἀφρόδιτος) was a male Aphrodite originating from Amathus on the island of Cyprus and celebrated in Athens in a transvestite rite.
Aphroditus was portrayed as having a female shape and clothing like Aphrodite’s but also a phallus, and hence, a male name.
One of the earliest surviving images from Athens is a fragment, found in the Athenian agora, of a clay mould for a terracotta figurine. The figurine would have stood about 30cm high, represented in a style known as anasyromenos (άνασυρόμενος ), a female lifting her dress to reveal male genitals, a gesture that was believed to have apotropaic qualities, averting evil influences and bestowing good luck.

Just a rememinder, a trans girl showing you her lady dick is good luck and wards off evil 😚
My submission for @samgenderzine!!! I wanted to submit something about my experience as a non-passing transman and how my interests that are feminine-coded add onto that insecurity. I’m so excited for this zine!!!
Oh my GOSH!! This has me in tears I’m so happy this was made. This is something that I struggle with a lot when it comes to explaining and coming out. This is so important for so many “effeminate” trans men.
I needed to see this so badly. Thank you so much for this @serpentenial

Her life was like a plot from a movie. In Villeperdue, still wearing men’s clothing, she was insulted by a young nobleman. They fought a duel and she drove her blade through his shoulder. The next day, she asked about his health and found out he was Louis-Joseph d’Albert Luynes, son of the Duke of Luynes. Later, one of his companions came to offer d’Albert’s apologies. She went to his room and subsequently they became lovers and, later, lifelong friends.
I demand a movie
holy shit that would be awesome
Her voice was described by some as “the most beautiful voice in the world.”
She famously beat the singer Louis Gaulard Dumesny after he pestered the women members of the troupe.
Her career in Paris was interrupted after she attended a court ball and kissed a young woman on the dance floor, for which insult she was challenged to a duel by three men. She told each of them she would meet him outside, fought them all at once, and beat them all. But given that Louis had outlawed duels, she had to flee to Brussels. [x]
Why haven’t i heard about this woman until now??

Socks are among the most needed items at homeless shelters, yet among the least-often donated. According to Tom Costello Jr., founder and “Chief Sock Person” at the Philadelphia-based nonprofit The Joy of Sox, even regular donors of clothing such as coats and pants will usually wear their own socks until they have holes and then throw them away. Because of the shortage, the nation’s homeless population is constantly at risk of serious foot disease and, during winter months, in severe danger posed by the cold.
